Living in The Bounder and a new Pup

Say hello to The Bounder!
Isn't she cute?

We have been living in The Bounder since the first week of April and let me tell you folks, it has been great! As with all used 'houses' it has it's issues but for the most part it has been wonderful having our own space. I am able to cook again which is fabulous and I don't have to worry about anybody but Whit and myself.

It is also great to be able to bring our stuff with us so easily! No more hauling boxes in and out of apartments and hotel rooms. This baby is ours! So without further ado, I will just post some pics of our place and shut the heck up for a change! Lol.

She is a 34ft Class A Fleetwood Bounder.

Butter has graciously let us stay in HER house, since we feed her and clean up after her and all that.

My home office?!?

Pilots chair.

The sofa that folds out into an apparently not very comfortable bed. My mom left a day early from her visit so she would not have to sleep on it again! Lol.

Oh JOY! It is the kitchen! We were so happy to have a fridge/ freezer and a stove/ oven again. That microwave was only used for popcorn that first month. We'd had enough nuked food after two months in that hotel room.

Sadly the dinette is not very comfortable and only gets used for food prep and storage of random things with no home.

Our bathroom, which is actually fairly roomy for an rv. We have however had to name it "The Bog of Eternal Stench" after a couple of months of baking in the Kansas heat. :(

Shower with a place for shower type stuff. ;-}

Pink and green poofs. Bet you cannot guess which one was mine!

Cabinet in the hallway. There is also a linen closet opposite this. I love the Bounder design on the mirrors.

Our bedroom, which is much less cluttered but the bed is no longer made.

My favorite thing is the HUGE/ GIGANTIC/ ENORMOUS closet! Who would have thought I could have such a space in an rv?

The long view to the living room.

And a parting shot of the Butterball. She loves all the windows in this baby!
This is our new puppy Toast! Isn't he sweet?

He will be a year old on July 5th. Think I should bake him a cake? ;-}

Love,
Gypsy Jenn

Life in Nebraska

I have been living in this hotel for 2 weeks now. It is strange, to say the least. For one thing, there are maids that come in and take out the trash, vacuum the floor, replace the towels, make the bed, etc. We eat a lot of meals out of a microwave, which is not necessarily a good thing. I am able to control my calories pretty good but I get a lot of preservatives with my calories. We do try to get as much fresh food as we can, but it is not as much as I would like.

With all of that said, I am happy. Whit is glad to have me here finally.

Our future is unsure right now, so we are just going with the flow. Not sure when we will be moving on but it sounds like our next location will be more long term, so looking forward to our own space in the not too distant future.
